Datacrypt™ is a printed chaosmetric security fingerprint. This solution exploits the chaosmetric result of a printing process to detect discrepancies between the printed pattern and a calculated prediction to detect fraudulent copies.
DataCrypt™ is resistant to photocopying or other reproduction techniques such as scanning or photography. The reproduction of the printed pattern will inevitably differ from the expected signature.
The DataCrypt™ security fingerprint can be produced for a batch or serialized, as required. Its authentication can be carried out online or offline thanks to the proprietary eDMR® application developed by Prooftag.
DataCrypt™ can be authenticated from Android smartphones equipped with Prooftag’s eDMR® application. The application uses the smartphone’s standard optics to analyze DataCrypt™ and validate its authenticity. No additional optics need to be added.
CryptoQR™ and CryptoMatrix™ are matrix codes based on QR Code and Datamatrix standards. They contain an open part that can be read by any standard 2D code reader according to ISO/IEC 18004 and ISO/IEC 16022 standards. They also contain hidden information that can only be detected and interpreted by authorized persons equipped with readers equipped with the Prooftag eDMR® application.
The signature used to secure the matrix codes is based on a strong encryption method. The secure matrix codes make it possible to combine the traceability function with standard equipment and constitute proof of authenticity.
The amount of information stored in secure matrix codes depends on their size and definition. These matrix codes can give access to a web platform.
